I'm ready to sign up how do I do it?

You can start the signup process by filling in this form, providing us with as much information as possible. Once we receive your request, you will be contacted to continue the process.  Don't worry, submitting this form does not obligate you to anything. So, if you are just thinking about it go ahead and fill it in and we can talk about the best approach to your website. 

What is the initial cost?

Prior to any work being started you will need to pay for domain name (if you do not have one or wish to get a new one), web hosting and a $100 design deposit. This works out to $200 for most customers (for eCommerce sites there will be a custom deposit agreed upon). The balance will be due when your website is complete, unless you have been approved for one of our flexible payment plans.

What do I have to do in the design process?

Please start gathering any pictures that you would like on your website. If you only have hard copies of the pictures or text that is fine, we can scan them in at no additional charge. Also, any statistical information that you may want to be displayed should be forwarded as well. We will help you with the content creation or editing of existing content.

I have a website already, how will this work?

If you have a website now and wish to keep the domain name we will need to change the domain nameservers (DNS) to our company’s DNS servers.  During the requirements gathering we will discuss this and assist with instructions on how to do this.

How long will this take?

Once I have your deposit and we discuss your design the process can be very quick.  It mostly depends on how many pages you want, if your images, videos and other content is ready to go and how definitive you are in your review of the design, we can have you up in a days.  Once we have a design it is only a matter of loading the pages and that is a very fast process.  We ask for the benefit of our other clients that you try and have your information ready or in process prior to our start.   

I don't have a logo can you create one?

Yes I can assist with a logo but they are not my specialty.  I can help create one or if needed refer you to a graphic designer for the finished product.The latter option will be an extra charge to the graphic designer.

Can you just update my current website?

Unfortunately no.  We design using a specific process that does not require Dreamweaver or FrontPage or any other similar applications.  Part of our  business model is to create websites that are based on a Content Management System that do not require costly software.  I want my customers who wish to update their site on their own to have that ability.  Our design philosophy is based upon this approach.  We are able to take the content from your existing site and do a makeover.  Once you see how easy this is to update you will love it.

What is a Content Management System?

CMS is Content Management Systems and it is used to create, edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion.  All your pages are organized by name and are easily modified.  Modifications to your site only require internet connectivity and your imagination.

If I sign up with you and have a new domain name registered, who owns it?

You do!  Part of the initial down payment includes a new domain name, if needed.  We will register the domain name for you in our account, and will transfer ownership to you when requested.  We truly have no desire to hold on to your domain name for any reason.  We will, however, maintain the domain name for you as long as you cover the yearly renewal costs.  Your domain name is your brand on the Internet, and your business should be able to keep that brand!
